Mission Statement
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Our message is based on the Bible. Our ministry is motivated by the love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name, without discrimination.

The Salvation Army Metro Denver is committed to serving people in need by caring for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — in order to transform lives, strengthen families, and build our communities.

The Salvation Army Metro Denver continues to strive to expand and enhance its programs and services with the goal of Doing the Most Good for people with the most need.

Fundraising Events:

Problem Solvers Toy Drive
This Christmas, FOX31 Denver will be collecting toys for The Salvation Army. Public is asked to donate new and unwrapped toys for children from low-income families.

Fill the Truck
November thru December
We want every child to wake up with a gift under the Christmas Tree. Walmart’s Fill The Truck campaign challenges their shoppers to fill a cardboard truck shaped box. All toys are distributed to local families in need. Boxes are placed in front of all Walmart stores.

Angel Tree
November thru December
This Christmas season, adopt an angel at your local MACY’S and fulfill the Christmas wish for a very special child in your community. Unfortunately, Christmas is challenging for those struggling with difficult family, emotional, or employment problems. Pick up an Angel Tag at your local Macy’s and have fun shopping for your angel. Spread the joy of caring and sharing with those who would otherwise go without.

Celebrity Bell Ringing
Every Wednesday from Nov. 22nd thru Dec. 20th
11:30 am – 1:00 pm; 16th Street Mall
Stop by and say hello to your favorite local celebrities as they volunteer to ring bells at Salvation Army’s red kettle. This fun filled event is a friendly reminder to give to those who need it most during the holiday season. 100% of kettle donations support local community programs and services in the neighborhood where money is raised.
