A Precious Child provides children with basic essentials such as clothes, toiletries, school supplies, educational opportunities and access to extracurricular activities, striving to remove barriers to a child’s education, improve the quality of life for children and families in need and support the realization of their vision to help children grow-up to be contributing members of the community.

Fulfilling A Precious Child’s mission requires the help of more than 5,000 volunteers annually who donate thousands of hours of volunteer service. Volunteers are needed on a daily basis in A Precious Child’s Donation Center to help process incoming donations and prepare them for our store. A variety of consistent volunteer opportunities are also available throughout all of A Precious Child’s departments.
A Precious Child’s community center is available for groups to reserve in conjunction with volunteering. Companies may use the space for meetings, presentations or team building activities prior to helping in the Donation Center. A Precious Child can comfortably accommodate volunteer groups of up to sixty.

What makes A Precious Child such an important organization is that they help children specifically here in Colorado. Their work is even more targeted in our neighboring towns and cities, allowing you to see that the organization really does a lot of good work for the community. So, starting right here in our own backyard and focusing on children in need is important to us at Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons.
What is one thing you wish the Denver business community knew about this non-profit?
I wish more people in the Denver business community knew how efficient and hard working the organization is. A Precious Child involves strong community leaders who are committed to making a difference and doing it in a way where almost all of the funds go to the actual bottom line in helping kids and families thrive.
How long have you supported this non-profit and what positive changes have you seen since you starting working with them?
Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons been supporting A Precious Child since they were founded in 2008 by Carina Martin in her garage.
