Year Established

Service Area
LAEF has established itself as a leader in meeting the higher education needs of Hispanic and Latino students across the entire state of Colorado.

Mission Statement
Providing access to higher education for all Hispanics and Latinos in Colorado. LAEF helps Colorado students and their families navigate the college going process.

Advancing the educational, leadership, and economic status of all Hispanics and Latinos to improve the greater community.

During its rich 67 year history, LAEF has awarded over 6,000 scholarships totaling over $6,000,000. The Hispanic community is the fastest growing underrepresented community in the nation. As the need for a more educated workforce continues to grow LAEF is expanding access, for Hispanic and Latino youth, to attend institutions of higher education.

The LAEF goal is to provide sufficient funding to our scholarship recipients to mitigate financial barriers during their quest for a college education.

Offer on-going support, both financial and otherwise, to our recipients throughout their college experience.

Create awareness about educational opportunities for Hispanic and Latino students.
