Summer Event
Denver’s most popular summer social gathering for the region’s top business and community leaders. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy samples from the region’s best restaurants, as well as a variety of adult beverages. Corporate sponsorship packages include recognition and promotional opportunities, as well as hospitality and ticket benefits.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Denver Zoo values its volunteers and presents many opportunities to contribute to the success of the Zoo through their donated time and efforts.

Adult Volunteers – must complete an application and attend a mandatory training seminar.

Teen Volunteers – must be at least 13 years old and no older than 18.

Corporate Volunteers – Denver Zoo’s Corporate Volunteer Program provides organizations the opportunity to support the community and engage staff outside of their traditional workspace. Groups can take advantage of unique zoo improvement projects under the guidance of Denver Zoo staff. Each volunteer opportunity will be designed to fit your organization and make a meaningful contribution to Denver Zoo.

Giving Opportunities:

Corporate Membership – Denver Zoo is eager to partner with businesses, corporations or other organizations to reward employees, entertain clients, engage customers and create new business through a corporate membership. Benefits include unlimited, transferrable admission for up to four individuals per visit, enrollment in consignment ticket program, 20 percent gift shop discount, 10 percent food and beverage discount, listing in Denver Zoo annual report, and listing on Denver Zoo’s website.

Event Sponsorships – Denver Zoo offers sponsorship opportunities for a variety of special events throughout the year. The Zoo’s special event sponsorship packages are designed to support a variety of marketing and promotional strategies and will be customized to meet specific marketing objectives. Denver Zoo is proud to present events for all ages that will give visitors a different glimpse of the Zoo, whether it is Denver’s premier Halloween attraction, Boo At The Zoo; holiday events such as Zoo Lights, where more than 150 animated animal sculptures are scattered throughout 70 acres on Zoo grounds; or Denver’s premier culinary event Do At The Zoo showcasing the region’s best restaurants, as well as a variety of beer, wine and spirits.

Zoo Pride – Donors to Denver Zoo whose annual cumulative giving is at least $1,000 are recognized in Denver Zoo’s most prestigious society and will receive personal invitations to Denver Zoo special activities throughout the year. Zoo Pride donations are 100% tax-deductible and can be designated to a specific component of the Zoo of which the donor has a passion or interest.

Friends of Denver Zoo – A $500 membership entitles the donor to recognition in this elite program, full benefits of a family-plus membership, a philanthropic gift to Denver Zoo and exclusive invitations to Denver Zoo special events.

Memorial & Tribute Gifts – Create a lasting memorial tribute to a loved one — or celebrate an anniversary, birthday, graduation or wedding. With memorial and tribute gifts, donors create a living legacy enjoyed by millions of people each year at Denver Zoo while supporting our mission to secure a better world for animals through human understanding.

Vehicle Donations – Denver Zoo accepts a wide variety of motorized vehicles, from trucks to boats, new and old. Towing is free, and the proceeds from all sales will help Denver Zoo accomplish its mission.

Gift & Estate Planning – By choosing to include Denver Zoo in a will or other long term plans, supporters can help Denver Zoo enrich the lives of animals at the Zoo and around the world. Those who leave a legacy in their plans are offered the opportunity to join the Wildlife Heritage Society and receive special benefits.

Annual Membership additional gift – Members have an option to donate an additional amount when purchasing their annual membership.
