Mission Statement
To honor, by public acknowledgment or commemoration, those individuals who merit recognition and distinction for their exploits, accomplishments, and leadership in sports and athletic endeavors in the state of Colorado. Equally to build and make available programs and support for youth in our state, to cultivate character and citizenship as they grow toward leadership in our state and throughout the nation.

• To continue to organize successful Colorado Sports Hall of Fame events, including the Induction Banquet, Golf Classic, and Championship Saturday.
• To grow the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame tour program at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
• To remain persistent in supporting youth sports programs in Colorado, such as Sportswomen of Colorado, Special Olympics, National Sports Center for the Disabled, Colorado Golf Association, Gold Crown Foundation, Denver Public Schools Foundation, Open Door and Rocky Mountain State Games.

Fundraising Events:

Induction Banquet
The signature event of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, the Induction and Awards Banquet is held every year to celebrate that year’s Induction Class and recognize the accomplishments of those who have made an impact throughout sports in Colorado. Athletes excelling in a variety of levels and sports, as well as members of the media, coaches, and officials have been inducted and honored. This year, the Hall of Fame hosted a record crowd of 900 guests for an inspiring and entertaining evening.

Golf Classic
For the past several years, the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame has presented a first-class golf tournament. The Golf Classic is hosted in September at the world-famous Broadmoor Hotel and Golf Club in Colorado Springs. This is a great opportunity for golfers to have a fun, first-class weekend while contributing to youth sports and making a difference in the community.

Championship Saturday
Championship Saturday is a collaboration between the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Colorado High School Activities Association, and Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The 4A and 5A high school championship football games are held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in December. Championship Saturday gives the Hall of Fame opportunities to fundraise and recognize and support youth sports.
