Colorado Nonprofit Association leads, serves and strengthens Colorado’s nonprofit community to improve the quality of life throughout our state.

• Lead adoption and implementation of public policies that strengthen nonprofits and communities.
• Elevate public understanding and appreciation of Colorado’s nonprofit sector.
• Increase the sustainability of the nonprofit sector by providing professional development, access to best practice knowledge and current trend information to people and organizations.
• Connect members with each other and with outside resources to enrich and strengthen their work.
• Facilitate and grow a thriving, connected membership of nonprofit professionals.
• Strengthen our relationship with nonprofits, government officials and businesses in each region of Colorado, including areas outside of Denver.

Colorado Nonprofit Week and Awards Luncheon
March 2017
This annual, weeklong celebration and awards luncheon celebrate the vital work of Colorado nonprofits and honor individuals and companies who have positively impacted the nonprofit community in Colorado. Nonprofits across the state participate in the weeklong celebration and more than 750 nonprofit, government and business leaders attend the awards luncheon each year.

Tech Summit
May 2017
Full day mini-conference for nonprofit professionals to connect with the tech community. Attendees learn about the latest tech trends and affordable options for technology solutions.

Fall Conference & Exhibition
October 2017
The premier, annual event for all professionals serving Colorado’s nonprofit community. More than 800 attendees gather each year for two full days of learning, idea sharing, skill building and networking all with the end goal of strengthening Colorado’s nonprofit community.

Leadership Development Series Event

Nationally renowned speakers present on topics crucial to the nonprofit community and create a venue for dialogue and collaboration among peers.

Colorado Nonprofit Association events attract large audiences of nonprofit professionals and people of influence. These events offer opportunities for widespread brand visibility, networking and a connection to the nonprofit community as a whole.

Online Career Center
Colorado Nonprofit Association receives thousands of requests each year to assist with job recruitment in the nonprofit community. The Nonprofit Job Board has become a premier resource for talent recruitment in our state, with more than 1 million online searches annually. Sponsorship of the Career Center shows support of the economic vitality of the entire sector and offers ample opportunities for co-branded recognition.

Online Knowledge Center
From downloadable tools and resources to up-to-date reports and publications sharing trends in the nonprofit sector, Colorado Nonprofit Association is the go-to resource for nonprofit best practices. Nonprofit professionals and volunteers from around the state have received or downloaded these frequently updated materials and sponsorship opportunities are always available for future editions or new concepts in line with the evolution of the community’s needs.

Education and Leadership Development
Like all professionals, nonprofit leaders need the skills to effectively manage their organizations and be accountable in their work. Colorado Nonprofit Association offers year-round trainings designed to improve effectiveness of nonprofit management and service delivery. Sponsorship of these various programs and tracks is always available, as are opportunities to share expertise in the form of presentations/trainings.

Public Awareness
Colorado nonprofits contribute significantly not only to quality of life in our state, but also to the economic vitality of local communities. There remains an opportunity to better educate the public on the importance of nonprofits and encourage support through contributions of time, talent and treasure. Partnership opportunities exist to join Colorado Nonprofit Association in a targeted public awareness campaign across the state, as well as to support activities associated with the annual Colorado Nonprofit Week (March) and Member Appreciation Month (May).

Volunteer Opportunities: 

A variety of opportunities exist to support the important work of Colorado Nonprofit Association, including volunteer leadership, presentations to membership and the sharing of subject matter expertise through various platforms.
